Prayer to Saint Joseph

“To you, Saint Joseph, we resort in our tribulation and, having implored the help of your most holy wife, full of confidence, we also ask for your patronage. For that sacred bond of charity that united you to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and for the paternal love that you had for the Child Jesus, we ardently implore you to cast a favorable eye on the inheritance that Jesus Christ conquered with his blood, and help us in our needs with your help and power. Protect, O provident guardian of the divine Family, the chosen people of Jesus Christ. Keep away from us, O most loving Father, the plague of error and vice. Watch us from the heights of heaven, O our mighty support, in the struggle against the power of darkness, and just as you once saved the threatened life of the Child Jesus from death, so now defend the Holy Church of God from the snares of the Enemy and from all adversity. Support each one of us with your constant patronage, so that, with your example and supported by your help, we may live virtuously, die piously, and obtain eternal bliss in heaven. Amen"
